From a very young age my heart constantly yearns towards adoption. I am always doing my research and trying to learn about adoption. I have always had an open heart to adopting special needs children, specifically, Albinism. There can be a fair share of guilt that goes into this ‘idealisation’, but I am not ashamed of what I want to work towards. The fox and boar is not only a blog space where I document my journey from the very start , it is also my workshop where I will document my growth and journey in ceramic clay work and fibre art. This is a growing space with unique projects I intend to work on and one day sell as part of our piggybank for adopting.
Projects I have been working on includes home-wares such as ceramics mugs and plates. I also work on fibre wall art to which I truly believe is a cosy addition to the home. Additionally, I am also working on pets-ware such as dog bowls. I take inspiration from the ‘home’ and the danish/ Norwegian concept ‘Hygge’, the word defies literal translation, but we'll swerve this by saying it's a wholesome Danish concept of cosiness . To me, home should be a summer day or being by the fireplace during the snow.
